Let the Wild Lead
with Chris Lombard and Tessy Seward at Tula Vida Ranch in Tilaran, Costa Rica
January 14-19, 2025
Are you longing for soulful connection with others who share your love for the natural world, your spirit of adventure, and your willingness to explore the untamed territory of the heart?
In this five-day immersive retreat, we’ll relax into the rhythms of nature. We’ll connect deeply with our own hearts. We’ll build community with others through relational and somatic practices, and we’ll get to know the wise, gentle horse healers of the Tula Vida herd. Our days will include transformational guided sessions with the horses as well as excursions to the rainforest, waterfalls, and natural hot springs of this wild and beautiful area near Costa Rica’s Arenal Volcano. In the evenings we’ll gather for delicious home-cooked meals and enjoy stories and star-gazing around the fire.

Chris Lombard
Chris first came into contact with horses during a challenging time in his mid-twenties. He looked into the eyes of a horse for the first time and felt an inherent peace, an inner-contentment within their being, that helped him to remember the peace and contentment within himself. Chris developed a deep understanding and skill for training horses and riders during many years working on ranches in Colorado, California, and Arizona before finding His way back to his home state of Maine. His work now takes him all over the United States and beyond, working with people and their horses both privately and in group clinics. Chris is the author of several books and a gifted teacher offering people new, evolving, and inspiring ways of connecting with horses, while learning how to live our own lives more freely and lovingly in the process.
